We’re happy and relieved to say that a wonderful home has been found for the 3 little pigs who were left to starve (see story below from May). And the best news is that we didn’t have to separate them! A great family with 3 children decided it would be nice if the children had one piglet each as a pet. Before we placed the piglets in their new home, we had them neutered so they won’t be used for breeding. We also had them all treated for a skin condition, and wormed. They responded amazingly quickly to the love and attention they received here at The Sanctuary, and proved to be funny, affectionate little characters. We were surprised at how difficult it was to find them a safe home where they would never be eaten, but are delighted with this happy ending. Thank you to everyone who sent their good wishes!
